Sometimes I act and talk like I don’t believe in emotions or love or anything. I do, it’s just hard. I don’t like dealing with emotions, not in real life. I love tv shows and books where it’s a fantasy that’s hurting me. Yeah, the hurt is real, but it’s from something that I don’t actually have to deal with.

In comes the real world with problems that I can’t escape from. I try to do what I can, but it’s not much. That hurts. And it’s all real. So I tell people to not do anything based on emotion, because when I do, I make stupid decisions and I get hurt.

Then I make emotional decisions anyway. I guess it’s because even though I try as hard as possible to be this cold, hard shell, I can’t help but feel. I can’t help but love people.

People are screwed up. All of us are. We do stupid stuff and we mess up all the time. Most times I can’t deal with that. I’m like, “Sorry, deal with that yourself. This is your mess to clean up.” Then there are people I love. I really, really love them. And I’m like, “Here, let me help. I’m here for you. I’ll do whatever I can do.” Sometimes they let me and I make a bigger mess. Sometimes they let me and I can barely help or can’t do anything at all. Then sometimes they don’t let me do anything.

So basically, I think that I come across as really aloof and heartless, but in reality I can be a pretty loving because that’s all I’ve got going for me. All I can do for people is love them.
